I am seeking a number of talented and motivated Civil Project Engineers with experience in structures and heavy civil works to join a leading contractor for a prestigious project based in Auckland. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading civil contractor, where your expertise and skills will contribute to the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the execution of civil projects, particularly in structures and heavy civil works
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support for their professional development
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure timely and quality project delivery
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to meet project goals
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in civil engineering, specifically in structures and heavy civil projects
- Proven ability to run and manage teams of junior engineers and subcontractors
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering (ideal but not essential)
- Demonstrated experience in managing project scopes, timelines, and budgets
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and under pressure
