Are you an experienced Construction Project Manager with a proven track record in overseeing vertical build commercial projects valued at $50m or more? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team in Auckland!
My client is a leading contractor in the commercial construction market throughout New Zealand, and with an excellent pipeline of work ahead is looking to increase the size of their team. As such they are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Auckland to head up one of their upcoming projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of the construction project from inception to completion
- Collaborate closely with the commercial team to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget
- Oversee the coordination of subcontractors, suppliers, and onsite personnel
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and quality assurance processes
- Provide effective leadership to project staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in vertical build commercial construction projects, specifically with projects valued at $50m or above
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
